NYPD: 3 arrested, 1 suspect on the loose in quadruple Bed-Stuy shooting

The shooting took place outside of 56 Marcus Garvey Blvd., near Park and Myrtle avenues just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say four people were shot Wednesday on Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bed-Stuy.
According to authorities, the shooting took place outside of 56 Marcus Garvey Blvd., near Park and Myrtle avenues just after 3:30 p.m. The suspect exited the vehicle and waited for the three male victims before shooting, also striking a fourth person.
Officials say a 21-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, a 28-year-old male was shot in the back, a 25-year-old male was shot in the stomach and a 34-year-old female was grazed in the right arm. Three of the victims are in stable condition while the fourth is in critical condition.
Officers patrolling the area followed the Hyundai Santa Fe onto Myrtle Avenue, where the car turned right and struck two motorists. Four suspects fled on foot after the crash, and three of the four suspects were then apprehended by members of the NYPD.
The NYPD says the fourth suspect is still at large.
