Police say a 30-year-old man was shot while inside a cab early Sunday morning in Concourse Village.

Officers told News 12 the shooting happened at around 2:40 a.m. when a car drove up to a cab and opened fire in front of 1504 Morris Ave.

They say a 30-year-old man was in the rear seat of the cab at the time of the incident and he was shot in the torso. He was transported to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital for his injuries. 

Police have not released details on a description or status of the driver or the car in connection to the shooting. 

No arrests have been made as the investigation remains ongoing.
