NYPD: 30-year-old man dies from gunshot wounds, 19-year-old injured in Morris Heights

Police say a19-year-old man is being treated for a fractured skull as well.

Police say a 30-year-old man is dead and a 19-year-old man is being treated for a fractured skull in Morris Heights.

According to the NYPD, 30-year-old Jonathan Cameron as shot just steps from his home near Loring Place and Burnside Avenue Wednesday at around 10 p.m. following a fight. Cameron was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Both Cameron and the 19-year-old suffering head injuries were taken to a hospital. Cameron was pronounced dead at the hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time.
