NYPD: 32-year-old Allerton man fatally shot in Inwood

A 32-year-old man from Allerton has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting Monday in Inwood.

Police say a 911 call led them to discover Wilmer Rosario on 10th Avenue and West 206th Street at around 6 a.m.

He had multiple gunshot wounds to his face and chest, according to authorities.

Police say they believe the incident was a result of a dispute that escalated and turned deadly.

No arrests have been made.
