8h agoA 34-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Soundview, police say.
According to the NYPD, the man was crossing from Westchester Avenue to Beach Avenue just before 10 p.m. when he was struck by the vehicle. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.
The 24-year-old driver stayed on the scene following the incident. No arrests were made.
