The NYPD say four people were stabbed Tuesday night at the Flushing and Broadway subway station.
Police say the group of teens - three of them just 16 years old - got into a physical altercation with another group of teenagers on the J and Z train platform at the Flushing Avenue station just before 3:30 p.m.
Police say one teenager was stabbed in the arm, two others were stabbed in the chest and the fourth victim was stabbed in the arm and in the chest. All four victims were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull.
Alberto Rodriguez, the father of one of the victims, said Tuesday was his son's birthday.
"They say he’s stable, but you know his other friends they got it worse. We are just waiting for the doctor come out to speak to us."
No arrests have been made at this time.
According to police, all they know about the suspects at this time is that they are four teenage males just like the group of boys that they attacked. They say the teens fled the scene on foot after the stabbing.
