Police say a 4-year-old boy has gone missing after being abducted by his father on Sunday.

The boy has been identified as Yoangel Sepulveda, who police say was last seen at the intersection of Jerome Avenue and East 182nd Street.

NYPD officials say that Yoangel’s mother and father met at the intersection on Sunday, when the father put Yoangel on his motorcycle and took off without the mother's consent. Officers added that the mother tried to hold onto the 4-year-old while the motorcycle was moving and was dragged several feet.

As of right now, police do not know the direction that Yoangel’s father took off from the intersecton. Police have identified the father as 22-year-old Makiel Yoan Turbi and are searching for him.
