NYPD: Man fatally shot in Williamsbridge

Police say a man was shot and killed around 8 a.m. Monday morning on East 216th Street.
Police have identified that man as 46-year-old Denver Bernard.
News 12 was told EMS responded to the call just after 8 a.m. and found Bernard unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Police were on scene throughout the day, investigating what led up to the shooting,
News12 crews saw at least 21 shell casing markers on the ground.
