NYPD: 3 killed in multiple car collisions across New York City

Three people were fatally struck by vehicles within four hours across New York City Wednesday.

Police say at least three people were killed within hours of each other after being struck by vehicles in the Bronx.
Officers responded to 1605 Williamsbridge Road around 10:30 p.m. for a 64-year-old man who was fatally struck by a white pickup truck while riding a bike. Authorities say the driver took off. The make and model of the truck is unknown.
Just a few hours earlier in Manhattan around 7:30 p.m., a 62-year-old man was hit near Third Avenue and East 122nd Street by another driver in a gray SUV, police say. The victim was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital. The driver did not remain at the scene.
A 23-year-old man was found with head and body trauma near 13th Avenue and 50th Street in Brooklyn around 7 p.m. The man was struck by a minivan after it collided with another vehicle, according to the NYPD.
Police identified the victim as Chaim Blum, of Brooklyn. Blum was pronounced dead at Maimonides Medical Center. The drivers did remain at the scene.
The drivers of the fatal incidents in the Bronx and Manhattan are still on the loose.
