Eight people were shot in Queens and Harlem in just the last 24 hours, police say. Both the alleged shooters are still on the loose at this hour.
Police say a 15-year-old, a 20-year-old, and a 32-year-old were all shot in the leg while a 16-year-old was shot in the back near Atlantic Avenue and 88th Street in Queens Tuesday. The victims are expected to be OK.
It's unclear what lead up to the shooting, but police tell News 12 the incident doesn't seem to be a targeted shooting.
In Harlem, more shots were fired at West 116th Street and Frederick Douglas Boulevard hitting four men, leaving one of them in critical condition.
In both of these shooting incidents, the shooters are still on the loose.
