NYPD arrests suspect in East New York shooting that left 2 dead

Police have arrested and charged the suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in East New York.

Police have arrested and charged the suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in East New York.
The NYPD says 47-year-old Charles Hernandez, of Brooklyn, has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm. 
The shooting took place on Van Siclen Avenue just before 1 p.m. Saturday.
When police arrived, they found a 23-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman shot.
News 12 is told they were both pronounced dead at the scene.
