The NYPD is asking the Brooklyn community for help in identifying a man who is in the hospital with serious wounds.
Police say the man was found unconscious between Avenue R and Nostrand Avenue in Sheepshead Bay.
They say he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle Saturday night.
The NYPD describes the victim as a man between 35 to 40 years old and around 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He has brown eyes and black hair and tattoos on his left arm and hand.
Anyone with information is urged to call the police.
