Authorities have released new video of two men wanted for violently assaulting an MTA employee in Soundview Monday.
The 54-year-old MTA worker told officers that he stepped off the bus to check out a school bus that was blocking his path near Boyton and Westchester avenues around 1:30 p.m.
During that time, he says the two men walked up to him and started an argument. Police say the duo then repeatedly punched the bus operator before they ran off.
The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries.
This is one of two attacks on MTA workers in the city this week, with the second happening in Brooklyn Wednesday night. Police say a subway worker was attacked at an East Flatbush station.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
