Welcome back when you hear that sound, you know what that means. We're on storm watch with storm watch team, meteorologist Christy Campana. So Christy, we know the rain is coming, but that's not all right. Yeah. No, we can't rule out any gusty winds either. And those two combined really create for a messy kind of system that's headed our way. And like we said, 2 to 4 inches of rain is expected and that majority is gonna be overnight tonight and that can create some problems for your morning commute if there is localized flooding, which like we said, we can't rule out, but let's go straight to it and see, you know, an hour by hour where the system is coming in and this is two o'clock today. So we see the system just approaching here for the afternoon and we could see some batches of heavy downpours throughout the afternoon. But the majority of this is going to be a little bit later. This is 3 p.m. We see this light to moderate rain, these yellow colors really on the outskirts of the city and then maybe a break here and there by around five o'clock your dinner time. But then the majority of this hits around 8 to 10 o'clock and we see this orange, yellow and red and this is our more moderate, steady and even heavy rain that is headed our way and that's to continue overnight for your overnight hours. And that majority of it just past 1 a.m. two AM, we see it start to get slightly lighter around then and then by 6 a.m. we see it really start to push off and push out to the ocean and it clears up just a bit. We can't rule out a lingering shower until around seven or 8 a.m. And then it clears up really by mid to late morning and we could see even the sun come back out around your mid to mid morning to afternoon before the sunset, which is a good thing, but that flooding can still stick around and that comes with these gusty winds. So sustained winds of around 15 to 20 miles an hour and this is 8, 30 twenties we're seeing and then uh change in direction. This becomes a north wind as it's passing and we could see up to 3040 miles an hour. So really take anything in outdoors and just be cautious through the next couple of days. And let's take a look at 10 day forecast. We are in storm watch overnight. We're gonna see heavy rain, gusty winds and that breezy and those gusty winds continue a bit into your Tuesday. It's gonna be breezy but the sun is out and temperatures are back to seasonable for the rest of the week.
