Lesandro Guzman-Feliz's fellow NYPD Explorers stood in his honor Sunday at a basketball tournament.
The Explorers of the 45th Precinct accepted a plaque after the Pulse Basketball Tournament in honor of the slain teen, who was known as "Junior."
The two-day event integrated teams of kids and law enforcement, trying to build a better community relationship.
Guzman-Feliz was killed outside of a bodega back in June, and a rallying cry for justice has taken off in the Bronx and nationwide ever since.
Guzman-Feliz had dreams of being a police officer, and played basketball at Ferry Point Park, where the tournament was hosted.
Explorers say they aren't sure where they will put the plaque, but they will make sure it is honored.
