Police are asking for help identifying a man who they say is connected a flower shop robbery in Norwood.
Investigators say the suspect entered a flower shop located at 20 East Gun Hill Road, took out his gun and shoved a 39-year-old store employee to the ground before stealing flowers and running away. Law enforcement officials tell News 12 that the suspect was last seen leaving the scene on DeKalb Avenue. The flower shop employee spoke with News 12 about how the incident unfolded.
"The way he came in and robbed was not okay because it was really early," said flower shop employee Oscar Rodriguez Ortega. "There were children walks and lots of family... it's just not right that they would be out here doing that."
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the NYPD.
