NYPD identifies victims of fatal Hunts Point crash that left 2 others hurt

The crash happened on Bryant Avenue and Viele Avenue at around 3:18 a.m. when a white Chrysler struck an unoccupied oil truck.

NYPD detectives have identified the two people who died in an early Sunday morning crash in Hunts Point which also left two others injured.
Twenty-one-year-old Jilvante Roberson, of Brooklyn, and 15-year-old Sabrina Villa-Gomez, of Rockland County, were pronounced dead on the way to the hospital, according to the FDNY.
The crash happened on Bryant Avenue and Viele Avenue at around 3:18 a.m. when a white Chrysler struck an unoccupied oil truck.
The two who were injured in the crash included a 17-year-old girl who was taken to SBH Health System in critical condition, and the driver, a 23-year-old male who was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday night.
