The NYPD is investigating a string of violent acts across the Brooklyn borough Tuesday.
According to police, a 32-year-old man lost his life after a shooting in Park Slope Monday night. He was found with a gunshot wound to the chest outside 45th Avenue. What exactly led to the exchange of fire is unknown right now. The shooter is on the loose.
Outside of a smoke shop, police say two men entered, displayed a firearm and got away with $2,000 along with an employee's cellphone last night before getting away.
Additionally, an attempted robbery in Flatbush left a 71-year-old man in critical condition the same night. Police say two women knocked on the man's door and asked if he could lend them some money. That victim says the women were strangers and the exchange led to that man being shot in the chest twice. Officials also say two men fled the scene, and all of those suspects are still at large.
In Crown Heights, a man was stabbed by a suspect after a dispute at a bodega. The victim is in stable condition, but that suspect is still out there.
