A man is fighting for his life after he was shot early Sunday morning in Bedford Park, police say.

Police say a man in his 30s was shot in the back of the head at an apartment on East Mosholu Parkway around 2 a.m.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he is in critical condition as of Sunday morning.

Police say at this point, shell casings were recovered at the scene, and a suspect was only described as a man wearing black pants and a black shirt.
