The NYPD says a man was fatally shot inside his own car Sunday in the Bronx.
They say officers responded to a call for shots fired on Popham Avenue. When they arrived, they found Andres Jose Gomez Rodriguez, 47, inside an SUV with gunshot wounds to his stomach.
Rodriguez was immediately transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
At this hour, no arrests have been made. Police say the suspect fled in a silver Audi.
