Man stabbed in the back in Crown Heights steps from fatal attack the night before

A 45-year-old man was hospitalized Friday after being stabbed in Bed-Stuy, according to police.

Police say the man was stabbed in the chest and armpit around 1:40 p.m. inside 85 Tompkins Ave., a NYCHA complex.

The victim is said to be in stable condition.
