Police are searching for the person responsible for a shooting in Hunts Point before 5 a.m. on Sunday.

A 44-year-old man was shot twice in his left leg in front of 670 Hunts Point Ave.

The area has seen 12 shooting this year, according to the latest crime stats released by the NYPD.

News 12 spoke to a Hunts Point resident off camera, who says she often hears about fights and arguments on this block late at night when the club across the street from the shooting lets out.
