Police say a man is on the loose after being accused of trying to lure a young girl into a truck Wednesday in Throgs Neck.

According to authorities, a 14-year-old girl was walking near Lawton Avenue and Milton Place when she noticed a box truck following her.

The man then got out the truck and attempted to lure the teen by making gestures and comments.

The girl ran away unharmed, but the suspect remains at large.

Police say the box truck has unknown lettering on the driver side door.
