NYPD: Man shot and killed on Kingsbridge Road in the Bronx

Law enforcement officials say the suspect was spotted wearing a red jacket, fleeing westbound on West Kingsbridge Road.

Police are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a man on West Kingsbridge Road on Thursday.
According to the NYPD, the shooting took place just before 11 a.m. in front of 131 West Kingsbridge Road. Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a 26-year-old man who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
The victim was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Law enforcement officials say the suspect was spotted wearing a red jacket, fleeing westbound on West Kingsbridge Road. Surveillance video from a nearby business shows the man in his red jacket fleeing the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
