NYPD: Man shot, carjacked while delivering bread in Concourse Village

A man held at gunpoint in the Concourse Village section of the Bronx is now fighting for his life.

A man held at gunpoint in the Concourse Village section of the Bronx is now fighting for his life.
News 12 is told the 65-year-old victim was making a bread delivery Friday when he was ambushed.
The victim says he was walking back to his car near Findlay Avenue and 167th Street at around 5 a.m. when he noticed someone sitting in the vehicle.
News 12 is told the suspect demanded the 65-year-old to get in the car. Police say when the victim refused, the gunman shot him in the arm and stomach.
Police believe the suspect took off with the victim’s van, a 1997 gray Chevy.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in serious condition.
