Police say a man was shot in the leg in Mott Haven.

Officers responded to East 135th Street and 3rd Avenue after a 34-year-old man was shot in the left leg at around 1:16 a.m.

He was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and is in stable condition.

The shooting suspect is still on the loose.
