The NYPD says a 31-year-old man was slashed in the face and shot in the shoulder just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the shooting happened at 1950 Bryant Ave.

Currently, authorities do not have a suspect description.

They tell News 12 the victim is expected to survive his injuries.
