A 48-year-old man was shot in the head and arm during an armed robbery in Longwood, police say.

According to authorities, the shooting took place in front of 858 Westchester Ave. where the 48-year-old man got into an argument with the shooting suspect. The suspect then took out a gun and fired multiple times, striking him in the head and the arm.

That man took the victim's cellphone and fled, police said.

The 48-year-old man was taken to a hospital where he is in serious but stable condition.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the NYPD.
