NYPD: Mother and son stabbed in Starrett City apartment
After responding to a 911 call at around 7:02 p.m. at 1500 Hornell Loop, police found 58-year-old Donna Hyman and her 36-year-old son with multiple stab wounds to the torso.

A mother and son were stabbed inside their apartment on Friday night in Starrett City, police say.
After responding to a 911 call at around 7:02 p.m. at 1500 Hornell Loop, police found 58-year-old Donna Hyman and her 36-year-old son with multiple stab wounds to the torso. Hyman was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS while her son was transported to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in critical condition.
No arrests have been made. The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are not yet clear.
