NYPD: Motorcyclist killed in collision with SUV on Pelham Parkway

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV late Saturday afternoon near NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in Soundview, the NYPD says.
Detectives say it happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Pelham Parkway and the Bruckner Expressway.
According to police, the 31-year-old man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle going eastbound on Pelham Parkway when it collided with Chevy Equinox operated by 41-year-old woman who was making a left turn on I-95.
Police say the man was ejected from the motorcycle. The driver of the Chevy remained at the scene.
EMS took both the victim and the woman to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where the man was pronounced dead.
Authorities say the 41-year-old woman is in stable condition as of Saturday night.
