Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects wanted for a recent string of armed robberies in the Bronx.
The NYPD says the robberies started back on June 1, during which authorities say the suspects approached two men on Jerome Avenue. They displayed a firearm, demanded money and fled in a four-door white sedan .
The next incident happened on June 17 at a gas station on West 230th street where detectives say the suspects approached a 48-year-old man. They displayed a gun, demanded money and fled in the same vehicle, according to authorities.
Then over a month later, on July 28, investigators say the armed robbers threatened a 28-year-old on Jerome Avenue and East 233rd Street, stole his jewelry and fled.
The NYPD says the latest incident happened again at West 230th Street where the two supects approached a 58 year-old woman, held her at gunpoint, forcibly removed her possessions and fled in the same getaway car for the fourth time.
Overall, detectives say five people were victimized in the four robberies and over $800 in cash and valuables were stolen. However, they added that there were no injuries reported in all the incidents.
