NYPD needs help identifying suspects in Central Park officer assault

The NYPD has shared images of the suspects they are looking for. One suspect was riding a red motorcycle. All three have medium complexions and medium builds.

The NYPD needs help finding three people believed to be involved in an assault on a police officer in Central Park last Friday. They released images of the suspects, all on motorcycles.

Around 4 p.m., an NYPD officer on a scooter was trying to escort three people on motorcycles out of the park near West Drive and West 90th Street. One of the motorcyclists hit the officer, causing him to fall. The three motorcyclists then sped away. The officer was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and is recovering from minor injuries.

The NYPD has shared images of the suspects they are looking for.
