The NYPD said it is actively looking for a group of robbers on the run following a heist on Saturday.
Investigators said on Saturday at 12:35 a.m., a group of robbers entered a parking lot at East 194th Street.
One man who works at the lot told News 12 the group approached the office.
The attendant on duty locked himself inside the office as the robbers attempted to kick the door down.
That's when they say one of the robbers stuck their arm through the window of the office, held the attendant and gunpoint and forced him to open the door to the office. Inside the office were dozens of keys to the vehicles parked in the lot.
One of the workers said the robbers rummaged through the keys, attempting to find the most accessible vehicle.
Surveillance footage captured the robbers running from car to car before hopping into a black Mercedes, a white BMW and a white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Investigators said they stole all three vehicles and took off.
According to police, the attendant on duty didn't suffer any injuries.
One of the workers told News 12 the black Mercedes was found in a parking garage in Manhattan. He says the owner was able to track down his vehicle using GPS.
According to police, the suspects are still on the run, and the other two vehicles remain missing.
