The NYPD says officers stopped a man who threatened to harm himself with a knife early this morning inside the 67th Precinct in Brooklyn.

Authorities say the 29-year-old man walked into the precinct in Flatbush just before 1 a.m.

Officials say they were able to barricade the man before he harmed himself. They say they were then able to calm the person down and confiscate the weapon.

EMS transported the man to the hospital.
