The third officer who shot and killed the man who took the lives of Detectives Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora in Harlem was promoted Tuesday morning.
The NYPD promoted Officer Sumit Sulan to detective.
He was also presented with shield number 332, which symbolizes the three brothers from the NYPD's 32nd Precinct.
