NYPD: Suspect arrested following East New York stabbings

Police say 27-year-old Abraham Kentish attacked a 38-year-old man with a knife at a men’s shelter on Blake Avenue at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday.

A suspect was arrested and charged with three counts of assault in connection to a string of stabbings over the weekend in East New York.
Police say 27-year-old Abraham Kentish attacked a 38-year-old man with a knife at a men’s shelter on Blake Avenue around 1:45 a.m. Sunday. He also allegedly stabbed a 70-year-old man.
Police say a 26-year-old man was slashed in the neck while on the downtown No. 4 train at the new Lots and Livonia station just 10 minutes later.
All victims were hospitalized and are expected to be OK, according to authorities.
