Police are
continuing their search for the suspect involved in a fatal triple shooting on
Clay Avenue in the Bronx.
The NYPD
says they were responding to a call about a shooting Saturday around 7:40 p.m.
at 1702 Clay Ave. when they found three gunshot victims.
A
27-year-old man who was shot in the chest was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital,
where he later died.
A
34-year-old man and a 39-year-old man were shot in the legs and taken to the
hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
The NYPD
reports the number of shooting victims citywide has doubled compared to the
same week last year.
Police say
the suspect is a man who fled the scene in a dark sedan.
