NYPD: Suspect hits 30-year-old man with baseball bat in Concourse Village

The suspect approached the victim and used a baseball bat to strike him on the head, causing minor injuries.

Police say that an unidentified individual hit a 30-year-old man with a baseball bat in Concourse Village.

The incident happened on Sept. 19 on Teller Avenue. The suspect approached the victim and used a baseball bat to strike him on the head, causing minor injuries.

Authorities say that the suspect fled in a red vehicle. The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln by EMS and is expected to recover.
