NYPD: Suspect hits man over the head with glass bottle inside 3rd Avenue station in the Bronx

Authorities say a suspect is on the loose following a train station assault in the Bronx.
According to the police, a 41-year-old man and the suspect engaged in a brief conversation inside the 3rd Avenue Metropolitan Transportation Authority 6 train station. The conversation escalated and the suspect hit the victim over the head with a glass bottle before running off.
There is no word on the condition of the victim. The suspect is still on the loose.
