Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a corner grocery store in West Midwood.
They say the robbery took place just after 1 p.m. Friday.

Store owner Mohammad Farooq says his wife was working at the store when the robbery occurred, and he rushed over as soon as he heard about the incident.
Although he doesn’t recognize the suspect, authorities believe they scouted the store.
"This guy comes over, three times in the store. First, he watches the store, the second time he went to buy lottery tickets, third time he comes inside, he held up the store,” said Farooq.
Police say the suspect in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds.
