Police are seeking a man for committing a hate crime and robbery against a Jewish man Thursday night in Crown Heights.
Police say the suspect approached a 40-year-old man wearing traditional Jewish attire in front of 906 Eastern Parkway, repeatedly punched him in the head and stole his cellphone while making an anti-Jewish statement.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK, according to authorities.
The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force says they are investigating the crime as an anti-Jewish incident.
