yesterdayThe NYPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect a big sneaker theft in the Bronx.
Authorities say the suspect walked into the backyard of a private residence in the area of Lurting and Pierce avenues around 1:40 a.m. on April 1.
The suspect removed approximately 20 pairs of sneakers from a shoe closet in the backyard before fleeing on foot.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police.
