Police have identified a woman who was fatally stabbed Thursday afternoon in Longwood.
Officials identified the woman as Gwendolyn Guyton.
Detectives say the 29-year-old was stabbed in the neck and torso on Southern Boulevard around 3:30 p.m.
The suspect has been described as a female, who was last seen wearing a green hooded sweater and blue sweatpants.
She fled on a bike toward St. John Avenue, according to police.
People who knew the victim called her GiGi and said she had a young son.
"Nobody deserves to be killed in the street like a dog," said one person.
