The NYPD is searching for the person responsible for opening fire Saturday night in East Tremont where bullets hit a woman twice in the leg.

The NYPD is searching for the person responsible for opening fire Saturday night in East Tremont where bullets hit a woman twice in the leg.
Police say the victim told them she was walking near East 183rd Street and Washington Avenue when she says she heard shots and felt pain.
They say the woman was rushed to the hospital for her injuries, but that she's expected to be OK.
