NYPD: Woman shot in Morrisania now in stable condition
According to the NYPD, it happened at 1397 Franklin Ave. just before 4 p.m.

A 35-year-old woman shot in Morrisania this afternoon is in critical condition, police say.
It happened on East 170th Street and Franklin Avenue just before 4 p.m.
Surveillance video shows a group sitting in chairs outside a closed smoke shop next to the O&V Deli Grocery and Meat Market when gunshots rang out. The group then runs down Franklin Avenue toward East 170th Street. The video shows the victim collapse to the ground outside of the entrance of the deli.
Police say she was pronounced dead in the ambulance but was then resuscitated at Saint Barnabas Hospital where she is in critical condition.
Police sources say they are investigating whether she was an innocent bystander.
No arrests have been made.
