President Barack Obama is calling on Americans to come together to figure out a way to stop the rise of deadly mass shootings.
The president's comments come in the wake of three fatal shootings at colleges in the past month.
Eight students and a teacher were shot dead at a community college in Oregon; another shooting left one student dead at Northern Arizona University; and a third shooting killed another person in a parking lot at Texas Southern University.
President Obama is calling for stricter guns laws, saying these tragedies are "not normal" and "not inevitable."
