A gun scare over at I.S. 117 in Mount Hope led to NYPD officers confiscating pellet guns from two kids at the school.

Police showed up to Joseph H. Wade Middle School after a school safety officer raised concerns about a possible firearm on school grounds.
A 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl had pellet guns in their backpacks, and are now both in NYPD custody.
No one was injured.
