One man was killed and another was hospitalized in a shooting late Tuesday in Mott Haven, officials say.
News 12 is told the two victims were walking out from a deli on Willis and East 137th streets when a car drove by and started firing at around 11:30 p.m.
News 12 is told the suspect got out of the vehicle and chased the victims while continuing to fire his gun.
The two victims managed to run toward an NYPD post.
A 24-year-old, Charles Wilkins, was shot multiple times and has been pronounced dead.
News 12 is told a 20-year-old victim was shot in the leg and is not cooperating with investigators.
Police are still searching for the gunman.
