Three firefighters were hurt battling a fire battling a fire at a home in Neptune Township Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was reported at a home on 11th Avenue around 12:30 p.m.
One of the firefighters was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment.
The American Red Cross is assisting three families who were displaced by the fire. They will be provided with food, lodging and clothing.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
