Officials say 11 people were sent to the hospital when a fire engulfed a building in Highbridge Thursday night.

Officials say 11 people were sent to the hospital when a fire engulfed a building in Highbridge Thursday night.
Flames erupted on Ogden Avenue and West 162nd Street, where more than 100 firefighters battled the four-alarm fire.
The building sustained extensive damage, including completely shattered windows on the fourth and fifth floors.
Crew responded to the fire around 10:30 p.m. It took them around two hours to get the blaze under control.
As of now, residents are not allowed back inside the building. News 12 is told they won't be allowed back until the cause of fire is determined.
Officials say 11 people were injured and five were sent to the hospital. News 12 is told two people are in serious condition. Officials say there were six firefighters injured total.
